Stopps Ltd's Security Division specialises in the management, manufacture and
installation of a wide range of physical security measures including search
cabins, grilles and shutters, locking systems, window filming, secure doors and
windows, access control and perimeter fencing.
Our clients are in the public, commercial and domestic sectors and include
the Home Office and Ministry of Defence. Each contract is closely supervised by
a Contract Manager and our installation teams are experienced, qualified joiners
who are cleared by HM Government to SC and CTC levels (Security and Counter
Terrorism). This means that they have been checked against the National
Collection of Criminal and Security Service Records.
Security Cabins
Our security cabins provide an environment of enhanced safety, security and
protection for entrance control points, search units and ticket offices. The
cabins can be manufactured using enhanced materials such as ballistic glass and
structural metal.
Externally the cabins are designed to match the surrounding architecture with
the use of high quality joinery and specialist metalwork.
The internal layout of the security cabin is individually developed to meet
the client's own requirements including the electrical layout, access control
details and locking mechanisms.
Our expertise and manufacturing capability enables us to provide clients with
bespoke solutions in very specialist areas such as steel reinforced doors,
ballistic windows, control rooms and security cabins.

Window Film
The installation of 3M safety, security and bomb blast window film helps
holds the glass together, reduces injuries caused by fragments of glass shards
and provides protection against vandalism and theft. We also fit solar
control, tinted and privacy film.

Secure Post Boxes
We supply and fit lockable steel bespoke post boxes which can be manufactured
in any size or colour to suit the location. They are secure, durable and
weatherproof.

Bollards, which can be lockable, telescopic or fixed can be supplied and
fitted in a wide range of finishes and colours.

Anti Climb Barriers
Anti-scaling security barriers, manufactured by Vandgard Ltd, which we
install on the top of walls or fences creates an unstable barrier if attempts
are made to climb over them.

Grilles / Shutters
Retractable security grilles provide physical protection at many different
levels and are suitable for residential, commercial and government use.
The security grilles are specially manufactured to suit the particular
location and can be sprayed to match wall or window colours.

Access Control
Electronic access provides an efficient and convenient method of securing
buildings using a touch lock or card lock system.
Card access control systems can be networked (pc based) or stand alone with
the systems programmed at individual doors.

Panic Rooms
A secure or panic room provides a safe area in the event of an emergency.
We will install a bespoke solution to each location and, depending on the level
of security required, this can range from enhanced locking to reinforced walls
and monitoring equipment.

Door with Multipoint Locking
We manufacture and install secure doors which can be fitted with a multipoint
lock providing an automatic bolting and locking solution which can be combined
with electrically actuated lock release

Chubb Locks
We supply and install BS 3621 2004 insurance approved locks such as this
Chubb 4L67E cylinder rim lock which has an automatic deadlocking action and
lockable internal knob.
The addition of a 5 lever mortice deadlock on a door such as the Chubb 3G110
pictured above provides considerable extra security and protection.
